Scholarships for Technicians

The SVC Foundation is dedicated to the education of those in the vacuum coating technology fields. While standard scholarships help those in school with tuition and expenses, we never stop learning and there are always opportunities to expand our knowledge even after graduation. Our new “TECHNICAL SCHOLARSHIP” is intended to further the education of those working in the field of vacuum coating technology. Scholarships provide a financial award to be used toward:

Tuition, books and fees

Travel to appropriate conferences

For example, the SVC Techcon offers an excellent Educational Program and we would welcome applicants requesting reimbursement for travel, registration, and tuition for classes at the SVC techcon in Long Beach in 2019.

It is anticipated that numerous scholarship awards will be made annually. However, the SVC Foundation and its Scholarship Committee may vary the number, amounts and types of awards based on factors such as funds available as well as the number and quality of applications received. Awardees will be selected using a blind process of the reviewers to give equal opportunities to various employers.

Am I eligible to apply?

Any individual working in the field of vacuum coating technology may apply.

How do I apply?
