Each year, the SVC Foundation supports students traveling to the annual SVC Techcon to present their research. Abdullah Al Mamun was a 2018 Bernard Henry Scholarship recipient. He was studying for his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Old Dominion University with research on organic-inorganic perovskite photovoltaics.
Abdullah’s presentation was given during a session on Coatings for Energy Conversion and Related Processes. The title of his contribution was “Interface Engineering of Electron and Hole Transport Layers on the Performance of Perovskite Solar Cells”. He also graduated this spring and is now working for Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon. We wish him all the best with his future career!
