2024 SVC Foundation Travel Sponsorship Award: Sabour Un Nisa
Since 2013, the SVC Foundation has joined the SVC to help support students that are traveling to the TechCon to present their research. If you include this year’s students, the SVC Foundation has supported 60 students from over a dozen countries. We are proud to introduce the 2024 recipients of the SVC Foundation Travel Sponsorship and hope you will attend their presentations in Chicago.
Sabour received a B.Eng. degree from the University of Punjab, Pakistan, a M.Sc. degree from Christian-Albrecht University Kiel, Germany and is now pursuing a Ph.D. at the Leibniz Institute for Polymer Research (IPF), Germany. Much of her recent research has focused on 3D structures and the dynamics of plasma treated polymer materials. She will present her talk in the Plasma Processing and Diagnostics Session with a talk titled “Exploring shallow depth profiles of plasma-treated polymer surfaces.”
