Natalia is near the end of her B.S. in Materials Engineering but wishes to continue her studies at the graduate level.
She says, “I played the role of the president of the Materials Science Club, where I could learn how to be a good leader. Science Club helped me start my journey into the scientific world, as I could join scientists in our university’s Materials Engineering Institute in their research work. For now, this has resulted in one published paper and another one under review, both focused on the topic of nanomaterials.”
She continues, “I can’t wait to learn more in my field, especially nanomaterials, as I believe they hold great potential to contribute to the developments of future devices in a more sustainable way, thanks to the number of properties that can be designed in those materials, and numerous applications that result from that.”
