2023 SVC Foundation Scholarship awarded to Igamcha Moirangthem at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology

“Currently, I am pursuing Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. My research involves fabricating high entropy alloy materials using physical vapor deposition techniques, including high-power impulse magnetron sputtering and radio frequency magnetron sputtering, and characterization of their properties using various techniques, including AFM, SEM, TEM, XRD, and nanoindentation. Such fabricated materials are then evaluated for their potential applications in hard protective coatings.”
