2020 SVC Foundation Scholarship
A 2020 SVC Foundation Scholarship has been awarded to Farzin Abadizaman.
Farzin is a Ph.D. student from Iran studying experimental condensed matter physics at New Mexico State University. His research involves the optical characterization of thin metal films, especially Ni and Au.
Farzin writes, “I feel honored to receive your support and I am deeply appreciative of this opportunity. This acknowledgement of my accomplishments encourages me to do even better in my future research… I am committed to contributing to the Society of Vacuum Coaters as a graduate student as well as later when I have a career in the vacuum coating industry.”
