2019 Industry Scholarships Announced!
Three Industry Scholarships were awarded for 2019 – each to cover the travel expenses for the upcoming SVC Techcon in Long Beach.
Andrew Nelson was awarded the Mike Plaisted Scholarship. Andrew is a Coater Maintenance Specialist at the Waxahachie, Texas plant for Cardinal Glass.
Kent Thriftwas awarded the Jim Colbridge Memorial Scholarship. He is a Coatings Process Engineer at the Church Hill, Tennessee plant for AGC, Inc.
Umi Rahmat is a Process Engineer from HPMT Industries in Selangor, Malaysia. She will receive the Dean & Connie Plaisted Scholarship.
